A New Electric Suv To Announce Toyota’s Arrival In This Popular Sector

SUVs have become firmly established as a favorite style of vehicle amongst discerning motorists who want their car to be more than one thing to them.

The good news for those loyal to the Toyota brand and who want to embrace EV technology is that 2023 sees the launch of the bZ4X.

This SUV is part of a collaboration with Subaru and is based on their Solterra model. The fundamental difference with the bZ4X range is that you have a choice of single or dual-motor versions.

If you choose the front-wheel drive base model you can expect a performance based on a vehicle that produces 201 horsepower. If you want something with a bit more punch and handling you can opt for the model upgrade that delivers all-wheel-drive handling and 214 horsepower.

The range of a typical bZ4X is somewhere between 220 and 250 miles for each battery charge.

Get Acquainted With An Exciting New Sedan

If you are looking at buying a sedan you can look forward to a new Toyota model that is a direct replacement for the Avalon.

The Crown is a very spacious sedan model that has an entry price point of around $40,000.

Toyota is unveiling two options with its brand new Crown model in 2023. They both feature all-wheel drive hybrid powertrains, with the option of a base 236-hp model, or a more powerful 340-hp Hybrid Max version.

Two Favorites Have Had A Makeover For 2023

The Sequoia is a full-size SUV that has become a firm favorite with drivers, but Toyota obviously felt it was time to give it a makeover. They have done it by giving the Sequoia a twin-turbo 3.4 liter V6 engine and 437-hp i-Force Max hybrid powertrain, plus a 10-speed auto transmission.

The popular Tacoma has also had a refresh with a range of SX appearances to choose from.

More Torque Despite Less Power

If you are already a fan of the Toyota Highlander you will be interested to know that you can get an upgrade for 2023.

This model has replaced its 3.5-liter V6 engine with a turbocharged 2.4-liter inline-four version. Although this means it is less powerful, the new Highlander now delivers more torque. You get 309 pound-feet compared to 263 for the six version, making it leaner but more exciting to drive with more torque.

These are just some of the intriguing and exciting changes that Toyota has made to its range for 2023. Take a look around the showroom and see which one will be the perfect fit for you.
