How to Replace Metal Tyre Tube Valve from the Wheel (TRD version)

I am driving with the new set of #Michelin XM2 Energy tyres for couple of months, and one of the tyre went consistent dropping in air pressure.

The optimum air pressure for each tyre is 230Kpa, and I check each of my car tyre regularly. The one tyre that have air leak constantly drop to below 190Kpa air pressure. We tried several methods to check the leakage, but couldn’t find any.

At the end, we removed the tyre and submerge the entire wheel into the pool, by pumping air pressure to more than 230Kpa, then we saw there is bubble coming out from the Tyre Tube Valve.

Below is the picture of the wheel after we submerged the wheel in the pool of water.

and below is the photo of the worn out tyre tube valve. There is damaged rubber gasket around the valve. The damaged and uneven surface lead the air seal not in the optimal condition, thus caused the wheel losing the air throughout the time:

There where the tyre tube valve replacement took place, and changing the metal car tyre tube valve cost only RM10.
