Getting around with your car is super fun when you can have road trip to your favourite places like mountains, beaches, jungle and etc…

I love to drive my car around in the town and sometimes off the town too. There is a very nice beach located in my place where I can date my girl over there and enjoy the nice breeze winds and scenery.

But one things for sure when we are driving on the sandy beach, getting your car out from sands is not easy especially your car is Front Wheel Drive (FWD) vehicle.

Front Wheel Drive (FWD) vehicle only have 2 front wheels that doing the moving job, unlike 4 wheels drive (4WD) where the 4 wheels are able to move the vehicle.

Inexperience drivers always have issue getting their car out from the sands.

Repeating stepping on gas pedal will make the tire sink even more and even harder to get out.

Before you hit to someone for car tow, or car push, and even using your car mat to gain traction of your car.

How to get your car (FWD) out from the deadly Sand?

  1. Step 1: Do not step the gas pedal continuously as this action will dig deeper into the sand, thus making the car harder to get out from the sand.
  2. Step 2: Instead, step the gas pedal on and off with rotating the steering left and right continuously to get traction on the sand.
  3. Step 3: Switch the gear between “Reverse” and “Drive” mode to move the car forward and backward to gain traction.
  4. Step 4: Repeat step 2 and 3 until the wheels are out from the sand.

If above method is not working, then you can put the car floor mat on the wheels, allow the car to drive on the mat for traction or just get someone tow the car out!
