A lot of people who never modify cars would never believe modifying cars even just aesthetic of the car could be very EXPENSIVE. In this post, we will share to how much actually the cost of aesthetic (outlook) car modification required in Malaysia dollar.

Top 5 Car Aesthetic modifications are:

Wheels Upgrade

As known as changing to alloy wheels or sport rim. Nothing beat the new look of the car with sport alloy wheels, that usually is shining and bigger size. Average cost of light alloy wheels in Malaysia would cost around RM1600 for size of 16″ inch wheels size.

Performance wheels do play some role in the car aesthetic modification as well. Performance tyres looks really good on the cars. Example of performance tyres is Michelin Pilot. These wheels would easily cost RM400 per piece with size of 16″ inch.

Car Body Kit

I never see any good looking car is without car body kit. Car body kit enhance the outlook of the car, usually make it sportier. Rumour said it increase stability of the vehicle if you fit the right body kit. PU materials (common materials on the market) would cost apporoximate RM1500 to 3,000 to full set of body kit.

Muffler Upgrade

Almost all good and sport looking cars have big, and loud mufflers. Some come with burnt type while other covered with carbon fibre on it. For aesthetic purposes, users can just change the end muffler tips or muffler that cost around RM400~. But if you are looking for serious performance upgrade, then consider upgrade from the engine manifold to the muffler.

Headlamp, DLR and LED Upgrade

During night drive, the first time thing driver would notice is the car’s light. Installed great, stylish headlamp and DLR make the car looks cool! Typical headlamp would easily cost up to RM2000, depending on the variant of the models. If you are on budget mode like me, just install the DLR and white LEDs on the car that cost only RM100-300.

Sound System

Almost all medium range cars (below RM100k) speakers don’t really sound good. To quickest way to make your interior look good and sound good, is get the Head Unit (HU) changed together with the speakers. The cost would be less than RM2K, but you will get really good sound then and it last really long…
