Conventional wet car battery is build to last at least 2-3 years if proper maintenance is taken care off. Personally I’ve tried using Maintenance Free (MF) battery, and wet car battery, and MF battery lasted me only 1.5 years while wet car battery lasted for 3 years.
Conventional wet car battery is cheaper and cost effective too.
In this video, I will show you How to Refill Car Battery Water in 2 Minutes
I have driving the car a lot lately and it has being few months since I bought the wet car battery, and right now is time to top up the distilled water into the wet car battery.
Procedures:
1) Buy the distilled water in most convenient shops, or petrol station. I got mine in Petronas petrol station.
2) Open your car engine hood
3) Locate the car battery
4) Open the first car battery cover (There are 6 covers)
5) Identify where “High” water level, and pour the distilled water only up to the “High” water level. Never go above the point, else it will cause some leak during driving. The leak from the acidic battery cell will damage the car compartment around the wet cell battery.
6) Proceed to add distilled water to the rest of the covers. 7) Tighten back the covers upon completed the refill process.
